Iqbal Singh Sandhu, PCS
Mr. Sandhu is our Hony. Secretary of the Society. At present, He is working as Sub Divisional Magistrate, Jalandhar. He is a National level hockey player. He lead the Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) in various Inter Universities Championships, represented Punjab State & Chandigarh & Indian Universities (Combind Universities) in Junior & Senior National Hockey Championships.
Padamshree Pargat Singh Olympian
Pargat Singh born on March 5, 1965, at Mithapur near Jalandhar, had his early education at Govt. High School, village Mitthapur. For higher studies, he joined Lyallpur Khalsa College. Jalandhar and did his graduation. Pargat Singh played as Full Back for India in Junior & Senior Indian Hockey teams. He led India in 1992 Barcelona Olympics and 1996 Atlanta Olympics. For his meritorious services he was awarded Padam Shree & Arjuna Award by Govt. of India. Currently he is working with Punjab Police and is Vice-President of the Surjit Society. Pargat Singh is now working as Director of Sports, Punjab at Chandigarh.
Kulwinder Singh Thiara, PPS
Mr. Thaira is working as Supdt. of Police (HQ) at Kapurthala. He is Joint Secretary of the Society & a National level gymnast. He represented Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) in various Inter Universities Championships, Also represented Punjab State & Indian Universities (Combind Universities) in Junior & Senior National Gymnastic Championships.
Lakhwinder Pal Singh Khaira, PPS
Mr. Khaira is working as Supdt. of Police (Detective) at Kapurthala. He is Vice President of the Society & a national level hockey player, He represented Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) in various Inter Universities Championships, Also represented Punjab State & Indian Universities (Combind Universities) in Junior & Senior National Hockey Championships.
Amrik Singh Powar, PPS
Mr. Powar is working as Supdt. of Police (HQ) at Amritsar. He is Joint Secretary of the Society and is a national level Hockey player, He represented Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) in various Inter Universities Championships, Also represented Punjab State & Indian Universities (Combind Universities) in Junior & Senior National Hockey Championships.
Surinder Singh Bhapa
Mr. Surinder Singh is working as Chief Welfare Inspector in Rail Coach Factory,Kapurthala.He is the Chief Public Relation Officer of the Society. In the field of Hockey, he is known as Bhapa, He is an international Hockey player, represented Indian Veterans Hockey team in the World Cup (Veterans) held at Holland. He represented Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) in various Inter Universities Championships, Also represented Punjab State & Indian Universities (Combined Universities) in Junior & Senior National Hockey Championships.
Gurvinder Singh Gullu
Mr. Gurvinder Singh, popularly known as GULLU is working as Officer, Punjab & Sind Bank. He is the Public Relation Officer of the Society. He is a national Hockey player, represented Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) in various Inter Universities Championships, and also represented Punjab State & Chandigarh in Junior & Senior National Hockey Championships.
Prof. Kirpal Singh Matharu
Mr. Matharu Retd. as Lecturer (Phy. Education) in DAV College, Jalandhar. He is an international Hockey player, represented Punjab Universities, Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) in various Inter Universities Championships and also Indian Universities (Combined Universities) in Senior National Hockey Championships & foreign tour.
Ram Pratap
He is a national level athlete, working in Sports Department. He is President of Punjab Athletic Coaches Association.
Baldev Singh
He is national level athlete, working as Cy. Commandant in Border Security Force, Jalandhar.
